The Berkshire Mall will lose yet another store, Eastern Mountain Sports. It’s the second announced closure in the Lanesborough, Massachusetts shopping outlet this week.
Parent-company Eastern Outfitters filed for bankruptcy and sold itself to a British-company, SportsDirect, which says it cannot keep the store open.
The move is the third announced store closure at The Berkshire Mall in less than a month.
Payless ShoeSource said earlier this week that it is closing and JC Penny shared similar news in March. The Macy's and Best Buy stores closed in October 2015.
