The Berkshire Mall will lose yet another store, Payless ShoeSource, marking the second closure in the Lanesborough, Massachusetts shopping outlet in less than a month.
According to the company's bankruptcy filings, Payless ShoeSource will close its Western Massachusetts location in The Berkshire Mall.
JC Penney pulled out of the mall last month alongside Macy's and Best Buy stores, which closed in October 2015.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that the mall's assessment value has dropped from $60.4 million to $19.5 million.
