Area media are reporting that the Berkshire Mall will soon have a new owner. The 700,000-square foot building in Lanesborough was sold two years ago and has since lost two major tenants in Best Buy and Macy’s. Messages to the mall’s management have not been returned. The Berkshire Mall opened in 1988. Target, Sears, JCPenney and Regal Cinemas highlight the mall's current tenants.
