Stars Abound In Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2015 Season, First For New Director

The Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced its 2015 summer lineup, which features numerous well-known performers. It’s also the first full season for artistic director Mandy Greenfield after taking over for Jenny Gersten.  The likes of Kyra Sedgwick, Cynthia Nixon and Will Swenson will travel to Williamstown, Massachusetts this summer as the theatre company’s 61st season kicks off June 30th. Sedgwick is to perform in the world premiere of Off the Main Road, while Swenson and Audra McDonald appear in A Moon for the Misbegotten. The lineup is the first crafted by artistic director Mandy Greenfield.

“It’s ultimately about asking the best of artists,” Greenfield said. “Really asking them to make their experience at Williamstown Theatre Festival count because if it counts for them it will count for the audience and that’s ultimately what I think we are all after.”

Ticket bundles are available through March 6. Single tickets go on sale in April.
