Weapons Found In Disturbances At Taconic High And MCLA

A student arrested for creating a disturbance at Pittsfield’s Taconic High School Thursday morning was found with a weapon.According to a press release from Mayor Dan Bianchi’s office, police found the weapon, though it’s not been said what kind, when the student was brought to the police station. Pittsfield police were called to Taconic High School because the student was causing a disturbance. The press release contends at no point was the weapon visible to anyone at Taconic.

Meanwhile,The Berkshire Eagle reports campus police at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts used pepper spray to subdue a 25-year-old student found intoxicated and carrying a loaded handgun with 25 rounds of ammunition on the North Adams campus Tuesday night. Christopher LaFrance pleaded not guilty to multiple charges Wednesday in Northern Berkshire District Court.
