Pittsfield PD Seeking Witnesses, No Longer Looking For 2nd Suspect In Monday's Shooting

Pittsfield Police are no longer looking for a second suspect roughly 24 hours after a shooting Monday that sent a teenager to the hospital.Police continue to seek information from people who saw what happened at the intersection of First and Tyler St. just before 9 a.m. Monday. After arresting a teenage male and charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police were looking for a second suspect, but are no longer doing so.

The 17-year-old male that was shot remains at Berkshire Medical Center after undergoing surgery.

No names have been released.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Detective Bureau at 413-448-9705.
