Kingston, New York residents have a new way to contact city officials with issues and concerns.

Kingston Mayor Steve Noble says the launch of Kingston 311 is an app, website and phone system to allow city residents to report issues and concerns and submit service requests. Noble says the smartphone app is a quick and easy way to connect to city officials in non-emergency situations. Once a service request is submitted, it is logged into the city’s QAlert system and will be routed to the appropriate department. Progress can be tracked through the app. The launch of the app coincides with the launch of a new phone system. By dialing 311 within Kingston during regular business hours, the caller will connect straight to the city, to log issues and service requests.
