Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison, New York, has a new executive director.

Boscobel’s Board of Directors has appointed Jennifer Carlquist as executive director, effective immediately. Carlquist had been serving as acting executive director of the historic house museum since October 2017, and has been working to develop a new strategic plan and refresh the brand. Former Executive Director Steven Miller retired. Boscobel, which overlooks the Hudson River in Putnam County, houses collections of decorative arts from the Federal period. Carlquist joined Boscobel as curator in 2015. From 2012-17, she taught as an adjunct professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
