In New York, a city environmental educator has launched a campaign to run for mayor of Kingston.
City of Kingston Environmental Educator Steve Noble stood in Tony’s Pizzeria Saturday and announced a bid to run for mayor. Noble's "OneKingston" campaign emphasizes infrastructure, economic development, government reform, and open communication.
“I’ve been working to make this city a better place,” says Noble. “And I am committed to working even harder to make this the best place for my family and for each of your families to live and be successful.”
Noble, a Democrat who The Daily Freeman notes is the nephew of Kingston Common Council President James Noble, could face a primary with current Mayor Shayne Gallo, who has said he would seek a second term. Audio was courtesy of The Kingston News.
