A movie filmed entirely on location in Kingston will be screened Sunday afternoon in the city.

“The Sisterhood of Night," prior to its theatrical debut this April, will be shown at BSP on Wall Street in Kingston Sunday afternoon at 2. Lydia Dean Pilcher helped produce the film.

“And it’s a mystery about a group of teenage girls who get fed up with social media and decide to go off the grid,” says Pilcher.

Upstate NY Women in Film & Television is hosting the special screening. The film premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival in October. “The Sisterhood of Night,” based on the short story by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Steven Millhauser, was shot in Kingston, including at Kingston High School. Sunday’s screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the film’s screenplay writer, director, and producer.
