Westchester Knicks To Play Home Opener

Westchester’s new NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knicks plays its home opener Wednesday evening.

To tip off the first NBA D-League game at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Westchester Knicks General Manager Allan Houston, and Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will be on hand to lower a Westchester Knicks banner from the rafters, signaling the start of the team’s inaugural home season. The game starts at 7, against the Canton Charge, after West Point Staff Sergeant Jeremy Gaynor performs the national anthem. A host of Knicks alumni will be on hand at the game, including Larry Johnson, Cal Ramsey and John Wallace.
