A New York Congressman is opening a campaign office in Dutchess County Saturday morning.

Democratic Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney is opening a campaign office in Poughkeepsie as part of his “Dutchess Days of Action.” Earlier this week, Maloney, who represents the 18th district, released his first television ad. The Poughkeepsie office opening is at 10 a.m. on Cannon Street. Former Poughkeepsie Mayor Nancy Cozean will be there. Maloney, whose campaign headquarters is in Newburgh, also is opening a campaign office in Middletown this weekend and will open another in Brewster, in Putnam County, next weekend. His Republican opponent, former Congresswoman Nan Hayworth, has her campaign office in Chester, in Orange County. Her spokesman says there are plans to open additional offices.
