There’s a new archive being launched Wednesday at an historical location in New York’s Hudson Valley.

FRANKLIN provides free Web access to 350,000 pages of archival documents and 2,200 historical photos in FDR Presidential Library’s Digital Collections – primary source documentation of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s experiences leading the nation through the Great Depression and World War II.  A partnership is launching FRANKLIN, a partnership of the FDR Presidential Library, National Archives and Records Administration, Marist College, IBM, and the Roosevelt Institute. FRANKLIN is the new virtual research room and digital repository of FDR-related documents. The president of Marist College and representatives from the other partners will join the director of the FDR Presidential Library in Hyde Park for FRANKLIN’s debut.
