The Hudson Valley was the site for a regional Beer, Wine & Spirits Summit.
The Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with Taste NY, held its first regional Beer, Wine & Spirits Summit at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park to support the regional beverage industry and promote locally-produced beer, wine, cider and spirits. Governor Andrew Cuomo says the event drew more than 200 industry representatives from throughout the Hudson Valley. The Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation’s Food & Beverage Alliance organized a roundtable discussion focusing on the challenges and growth opportunities specific to the Hudson Valley region. The regional summit follows Cuomo’s statewide summit held in October 2012. Taste NY is aimed at improving the marketing of New York State food and beverages.
