The candidates running for New York’s 21st Congressional district have released their quarterly fundraising reports and incumbent Republican Elise Stefanik is well ahead.
In her 2nd quarter fundraising report, Democratic hopeful Tedra Cobb raised $356,595 from 2088 contributors., according to her campaign. Overall she has $377,955 in cash available.  Cobb says nearly 75 percent of donations came from within the district and 82 percent total $100 or less. Cobb says the support indicates building momentum for her campaign as she seeks a rematch of 2018’s race.

Third-term Republican Elise Stefanik raised $518,000 in the second quarter and her campaign says she has more than $1 million dollars cash-on-hand for her re-election bid. Her campaign says no candidate in the district has ever raised as much this early.
