FREE Beginner/Intermediate Lindy Hop Dance Class -1 hour. 7pm - 8pm

A GREAT Taste and Experience of Harlem Culture! Harlem's signature cultural dance is the world famous Lindy Hop. While nearly a 100 year old dance it is still enjoyed enormously today worldwide - as far as China, Spain and even parts of Africa!
Come on and join us on Tuesday eves so you can experience and learn this exciting cultural dance art form. You'll hear some swinging jazz classics and how to do this swinging dance to some music of today too. No partner necessary, wear comfy shoes. All ages welcome!

Offered on alternating Thursdays from May to September, Tai Chi is a gentle practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves strength and stability. Set against the serene backdrop of LongHouse, this class welcomes all ages and experience levels to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with the beauty around you. Also offered on Saturdays.

Join Mohawk storyteller Mandy Tarbell for spine-tingling tales perfect for the Halloween season. These traditional stories will keep you on the edge of your seat, with Mandy skillfully tailoring each tale to suit the age of her audience. Included in Museum admission.

Register for both below on one form!We’re thrilled to announce our NEW in-person support groups for adoptive, foster, and kinship caregivers in Brooklyn! Facilitated by NYC AGAPE staff. Each facilitator brings their own lens of lived experience (foster parent, adoptive parent, adult adoptee).
