Let’s come together and care for the land! This month’s volunteer work party will take place at High Falls.

This work party will focus on cleaning up generations of litter from the Agawamuck, helping to keep the creek healthy and protect the watershed. In celebration of this being the last work party of the year, a pizza party will follow!

All are welcome to lend a hand at this fun, friendly volunteer event.

What’s involved: This volunteer event will include litter removal along a half-mile stretch of the Agawamuck Creek, which will involve walking over uneven and rocky terrain that may be wet. Following litter removal, individuals will move trash bags and other sizeable pieces of litter into a dump truck. Each participant will be matched with work that matches their ability and comfort level.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle, work gloves, and sunscreen, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
