Gail Gelburd mounts a solo Installation at Art on Main Gallery and invites visitors to step into and experience her creative concepts. Gail believes that the Nature of Our Mind can be likened to the strength of a tree, a bubbling brook, an endless river, or a gentle pond. But when a storm rages, she notes, “it is not our physical being that can fight or tame the torrent... it is up to each viewer/ participant to find a balance between terror and strength, power and peace.” These moments are found in Gail’s photography with encaustic, layered collages and drawings, and life-size sculptures. Together, they create an environment of sights and sounds that visualize nature and our minds.
