The Mayfield Historical Society will hold its Annual Ice Cream Social and live music performance on Thursday, July 14, from 6 to 8 pm at The Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Road, Mayfield. Local popular musician Aaron Mittler will perform on the lawn.

Attendees may bring their own lawn chairs or use picnic tables that are provided. Attendees will enjoy free tours of the Homestead, spinning demonstrations, this summer's special exhibit "Toys of Yesteryear", The Loom Room, Heritage Flower Garden and Mill Stone Garden. Donation for ice cream, homemade cake, and a beverage will be $3 and $2 for children 8 and under. The rain venue will be Mayfield Presbyterian Church.
