Dana Michel performs MIKE at EMPAC
EMPAC at Rensselaer invites WAMC audiences to follow award-winning choreographer and performer Dana Michel as she unravels the orderly world of mechanical labor in MIKE.
NY Premiere!
Accompanied by an inventory of office items, experimental choreographer Dana Michel embarks on a 3-hour trajectory through the center's public spaces, subject to interruption and absurd redirection.
Both playful and serious, MIKE deals with work culture and self-respect, asking, "is it possible to live public lives that reflect our inner selves?"
Join us! Two shows only!
