Colors of Raga : A deep listening experience with Indian Classical Music

Colors of Raga : A deep listening experience with Indian Classical Music

Brooklyn Raga Massive joins forces with the Hudson Festival Orchestra (HFO) for a benefit concert in support of HFO's annual, free public programming in the Hudson Valley. As part of BRM’s deep listening classical concert series, Colors of Raga, artists Abhik Mukherjee (sitar), Eric Fraser (bansuri), Ehren Hanson (tabla) and Dibyarka Chatterjee (tabla) will present an afternoon of enthralling Indian classical music.

Hudson Festival Orchestra (HFO), a professional orchestra, formed in 2019 and based in the city of Hudson, NY, presents an annual concert for full orchestra on the Hudson waterfront. Called “Hudson in Concert: A Community Celebration,” it is free and open to the public and celebrates our diverse American heritage through music. Believing that music and culture can bridge divides and build community, the mission of Hudson Festival Orchestra (HFO) is to bring diverse area residents together through live musical celebration of our shared American and diverse cultural heritages.
