This conference is designed to support professional development while strengthening the capacity of healthcare teams to deliver compassionate, equitable, and sustainable care.

Set in the Berkshires, this conference invites healthcare workers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the heart of their practice. Through conversations on unconscious bias, welcoming language, and trauma-informed care, participants will deepen their understanding of how mind and body respond to care and stress.

Together, we will redefine resilience—embracing self-care as community care and recognizing that how we speak, listen, and show up truly matters.

Participants will:
• Identify the impact of unconscious bias on clinical decision-making and patient experience
• Apply trauma-informed principles to healthcare interactions and workplace culture
• Evaluate the relationship between clinician well-being and quality of care
• Implement communication strategies that promote dignity, safety, and belonging

Berkshire Area Health Education Center, Inc.
