For Ages 16+

This four-session course is a perfect starting point for beginners in plein-air watercolor painting. It is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for people with little or no experience painting outdoors with watercolors. Through a series of exercises, you will gradually build your skills and confidence, learning the basics of watercolor painting and a method for working on location from direct observation, starting with compositional drawings and ending with finished paintings. All painting supplies and equipment are provided, making your learning journey smooth and worry-free.

As part of the course, you'll have the opportunity to explore various picturesque locations around Kingston through the lens of Plein-air watercolor painting. All you'll need to bring is a folding chair. If you don’t have one, just let us know, and we'll supply one for you.
