Three artists who were selected to exhibit in the Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show in 2022 return in solo shows in the Regional Art Galleries of the Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library. Britt LoSacco is figurative realist artist living in New York State and works primarily in oils. Her sensitive work observes the human condition in a detailed and poignant style. Mary Nolan has a long career as an exhibiting and teaching artist, focusing primarily on creating small onsite oil paintings of local and regional landscapes, many of which are used as studies for larger studio paintings, as well as teaching plein air painting. Mary Ellen Riell has been exhibiting since 1995, participating in over 100 exhibitions throughout the Northeast. She is a current member and former co-director of the Oakroom Artists. Her pastel landscapes, watercolors, and prints are found in private and corporate collections.

The shows are on view from Friday, August 4 through Sunday October 8, 2023. The Museum, Regional Art Galleries, and Library are open Tues - Fri, 10 am-5 pm, Sat & Sun, Noon-5 pm.
