Scam Advisory: We have been made aware that an online entity is posing as Joe Donahue to invite authors and other creatives onto our radio shows. The scammers then attempt to charge guests an appearance fee for exposure/publicity.

Comedian, actor, television writer, author, and musician Paul Reiser who has spent the last 30+ years acting in Oscar and Emmy award-winning movies and TV shows will be in Albany for two events this week.

On Thursday, April 4, he'll be at Page Hall on UAlbany's downtown campus for for an evening of conversation with WAMC's Joe Donahue as part of "The Creative Life: A Conversation Series." "The Creative Life" series is a major arts initiative of the University Art Museum, New York State Writers Institute and UAlbany Performing Arts Center in conjunction with regional public radio station WAMC Northeast Public Radio.

On Friday, April 5, he'll perform an evening of stand-up comedy at The Egg.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
