The Albany Symphony recently announced the release of its latest album, featuring three new works by distinguished New York composer, George Tsontakis. Recorded in Troy, NY at the American Music Festival and at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, the album was released on August 11, 2017 by Naxos Records, the world’s largest independent classical music record label.

In addition to the trumpet concerto, “True Colors,” the album features Anasa for Clarinet and orchestra, and Unforgettable for two solo violins and orchestra.

Here to tell us more are Maestro David Alan Miller, composer George Tsontakis, and ASO Principal Trumpet, Eric Berlin.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
