Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. David Hess of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute discusses green jobs and the best methods for creating them.
David Hess is a professor of sociology at Vanderbilt University and member of the Vanderbilt Institute for Energy and Environment. Before assuming his post at Vanderbilt, Hess was a professor in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Department of Science and Technology Studies and director of the program in Ecological Economics, Values, and Policy. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
