Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Karen Baird of Purchase College reveals the modifications that have made healthcare more inclusive of needs unique to women.
Karen Baird is an associate professor of political science in the School of Natural and Social Sciences at SUNY's Purchase College. She is also a member of the school's interdisciplinary gender studies faculty. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Houston and in 2009 published Beyond Reproduction: Women's Health, Activism, and Public Policy.
