Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Peter Black of the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry, draws a line between the good and the bad when it comes to acidity in rain.

Peter Black is Distinguished Teaching Professor of Water and Related Land Resources, Emeritus, at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. He has taught and conducted research at SUNY since 1965.

Dr. Black has published an educational film, numerous articles on hydrology and water resources, and three books entitled, Environmental Impact Analysis, Conservation of Water and Related Land Resources, and Watershed Hydrology.
