Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Charlene D'Avanzo of Hampshire College explains how biology professors are altering their teaching methods to address the discipline's ever-expanding base of knowledge.
Charlene D'Avanzo is Professor of Ecology in the School of Natural Sciences at Hampshire College where she teaches courses in ecology and environmental science. She has received multiple National Science Foundation grants to develop tools and methods to improve science education. She received her Ph.D. through the Boston University Marine Program at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA.
