Dan Ariely is the James B. Duke Professor of Behavioral Economics at Duke University. He earned a doctorate in cognitive psychology from the University of North Carolina and also holds a Ph.D. in business administration from Duke University. Dr. Ariely is the author of Predictably Irrational and The Upside of Irrationality.
