Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Amanda Bower of Washington and Lee University explains the Super Bowl's rare position as a shared experience in modern American society, and what that means to advertisers.
Dr. Bower is Associate Professor of Business Administration and Marketing at Washington and Lee University. She teaches courses in marketing management, integrated marketing communications, and creative strategic planning behavior. Professor Bower's current research interests include the effects of spokespeople in advertising, consumer perceptions of corporate social responsibility initiatives, and consumer use of product instructions.
