Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Todd Smith of Marlboro College explores the sense of smell.
Dr. Smith, a biochemistry professor, earned a Ph.D. at the University of Rhode Island. He has studied heat-shock proteins, which provide cells temporary protection from environmental shocks.His current research focuses on anti-freeze proteins in fish, and how fish control the timing and production of those proteins.
