Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Stan Green of Monmouth University explains why baseball is still America's pastime.

Dr. Green is dean of the McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences and is professor of anthropology. He earned a Ph.D. at UMass-Amherst.

Dr. Green specializes in baseball, Ireland, and archaeology, with a focus on diversity, archeological methods and theory, and the application of geographic information systems.
