Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Susan Engel of Williams College explores some entrenched problems in the American education system.
Dr. Engel earned her Ph.D. at Cuny Graduate Center in developmental psychology. Her research interests include narrative development, autobiographical memory, children's play, teaching and learning in schools, and the development of curiosity.
Her current publications include Putting the Child Back into School and Red Flags or Red Herrings.
