Advocacy Group Compares Obama and Romney on Health Care

A non-partisan group has determined that families buying health insurance would pay about twice as much under Mitt Romney than President Barack Obama. WAMC’s Lucas Willard reports…

In a study completed by the national non-profit Familes USA, researches determined that families buying health insurance would pay far more under Mitt Romney’s proposals than President Obama’s signature health care law by 2016, the last year of the next elected president’s term.

Connecticut Supreme Court Sides With GOP on Ballot Line Issue

The Connecticut Supreme Court has sided with state Republicans, agreeing their candidates should appear on the top line of the November election ballot.

In a unanimous decision posted Wednesday, the justices agreed state law requires Republican candidates to be placed on the top line.

The GOP took Secretary of the State Denise Merrill to court after she denied their request to change the order of the ballot.

Staff members for US Sen. Scott Brown war whoop in video

US Senator Scott Brown

Staff members for GOP U.S. Sen. Scott Brown and the Massachusetts Republican Party are seen shouting war whoops and performing tomahawk chops in a new video.

The actions are an apparent reference to Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren's claims of Native American heritage.

A Massachusetts Republican party spokesman confirmed one of its field coordinators, Brad Garnett, is seen leading whoops and making tomahawk gestures.

State Democratic officials identified another individual making tomahawk motions as Jack Richard, a member of Brown's US Senate office.
