Cloudy with snow showers early today, then a steadier light snow in the afternoon mainly in the Adirondacks and Catskills. In these locations, 1-3 inches by dark. A coating up to 2 inches everywhere else. Highs in the lower 30s.
Cloudy with snow tonight. In the higher terrain of the Adirondacks and Catskills a total of 8-12 inches. 5-10 inches in the lower elevations of the Catskills and Adirondacks as well as the Mohawk Valley, the upper Hudson Valley and central and northern Vermont. 4-6 inches in the greater Capital District, east into southern Vermont, and the northern Berkshires. 2-4 inches in the mid and lower Hudson Valley into central and southern New England. Lows in the teens.
Cloudy with snow ending early tomorrow morning, then windy and turning much colder with partly sunny skies and passing snow showers. Early day highs near 20, then temperatures fall through the teens.
