The capacity limit at the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra will be 9,000 — double the previously announced limit.
Working with the Tri-Town Health Department and Lenox and Stockbridge health officials, the BSO says it will observe three-foot social distancing within the music shed, with up to 2,400 patrons.
Masks will not be required, but are recommended for those who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. There was no summer schedule at Tanglewood last year for the first time since World War II due to the pandemic.
