Snow = Tow: Be Careful When Parking

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning which is in effect until 7 p.m. Monday.

After a long hiatus -typical Northeastern winter is back - blowing snow and treacherous driving conditions again upon us. For those who choose to stay at home or plan to avail themselves of public transportation, be forewarned: choose your parking spot carefully. Most places are still digging out from last week's storm. Here's Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan:

"It was heavier than anticipated and it lasted far longer than what we anticipated. I believe in the city of Albany in certain areas we got 11 inches of snow."

Albany and other municipalities in the path of the storm are planning ahead for this one by implementing snow emergencies that involve road restrictions. Check with your local authorities before parking your car.
