Capital District Of New York Caribbean American Cultural Association Celebrates Heritage

The Capital District Of New York Caribbean American Cultural Association was formed last year to bring together people in the area who came from the islands and to promote Caribbean culture and history. Dr. Marcia Sutherland is associate professor of Africana studies at the University at Albany and the founding president of the organization, which will have a booth at Saturday's Black Arts and Cultural Festival in Albany.
