What is gambling? It would seem that question would bring an easy answer, but not so as far as the legal fight over daily fantasy sports is concerned. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has gone to court to shut down the sites operated by DraftKings and FanDuel, contending they are gambling and violate state law. The companies say they are games of skill, not gambling. For more on the legal arguments we spoke with Marc Edelman, an associate professor of law at Baruch College. Edelman specializes in sports and gambling law.
