Springfield, MA – A small earthquake shook Western Massachusetts Monday morning. WAMC's Paul Tuthill reports...
The US Geological Survey said the 1.4 magnitude quake, which hit at 12:34 in the morning was centered in Hatfield.
The quake occurred at a depth of more six and half miles. No damage or injuries were reported, and it appears most people slept through the small quake.
About a hundred people had contacted the Weston Observatory by mid-morning to report feeling the quake.
