Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Public Service Board has approved the Kingdom Community Wind Project, a joint venture of Green Mountain Power and the Vermont Electric Cooperative. The $150 million 63-megawatt project will be comprised of 21 400-foot-tall towers on 3.2 miles of ridgeline near Lowell, generating enough electricity to power 20,000 households. Green Mountain Power spokesperson Dorothy Schnure says it will be the largest wind project in Vermont......
