Hospital's Advocate Breaks Cycle Of Violence

Springfield, MA – In an effort to stop the cycle of violence that infects many communities, a state supported program in Massachusetts puts specialists into some hospital emergency rooms. These healthcare workers try to turn around the lives of people who have survived incidents of violence so that they don't end up back in the ER...or in the morgue.. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill reports...
