Montpelier, VT – Almost 56,000 people in the Green Mountain State received food stamps in March. The number of Vermonters signing up for food stamp benefits is nearing the state's all time record and is at a 14-year high. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
