Montpelier, VT – An advocacy group in Vermont is out with a report that raises concerns over the use of chlorine in the paper making process at paper mills across the country. The Vermont Public Interest Research Group includes the International Paper plant in Ticonderoga, New York in order to advocate for safer technologies. But the regional IP mill says they have used a chlorine-free process for years. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
