Northhampton, MA – A group of Americans is joining a flotilla of ships that will sail in a few days in an attempt to break Isreal's blockade of the Gaza Strip. This comes a year after nine people were killed during an Isreali commando operation launched against a similar flotilla. One of the participants in this new Gaza-bound flotilla is peace activist Paki Wieland of Northampton Massachusetts. WAMC"S Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Wieland before she flew to Athens to go out on the U.S. flagged boat.
