Springfield, MA – So far, just one Democrat has announced as a challenger to Massachusetts Republican US Senator Scott Brown in the 2012 election. Bob Massie, a businessman, author and activist was the nominee of the Massachusetts Democratic party for Lieutenant Governor in 1994. After losing that election he largely vanished from public view. WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Massie about what he's been doing and why he is making this run for public office
