Ted Elliman Wildflower Walk And Book Signing At Manitoga

  Ted Elliman has been engaged in botanical work in New England and other northeastern states for over 30 years. He is a plant ecologist for theNew England Wild Flower Society in Framingham, Massachusetts. Previously, he worked as an ecologist for the National Park Service and has written numerous articles on botanical subjects for conservation organizations, scientific journals, and state and federal environmental agencies.

His new book, Wildflowers of New England, is for hikers, naturalists, gardeners, and anyone wishing to learn more about the regions diverse wildflowers, or just wanting to know the answer to "What’s that plant?"

Ted will lead a wildflower walk and sign copies of his new book at Manitoga: The Russel Wright Design Center in Garrison, NY this Sunday, June 5th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
