Patricia Cornwell is the former Director of Applied Forensic Science at the National Forensic Academy; a member of the Advisory Board for the Forensic Sciences Training Program at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, NYC; and a member of the Harvard affiliated McLean Hospital’s National Council, where she is an advocated for psychiatric research.

In 1990, Patricia sold her first novel, Postmortem, while working at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond, Virginia.

In her 22nd Kay Scarpetta novel, Flesh and Blood, the master forensic sleuth finds herself in the pursuit of a serial sniper who leaves no incriminating evidence except fragments of copper. The shots seem impossible, yet they are so perfect they cause instant death.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
